Quanzhou, China - May 5, 2026 - As part of its corporate social responsibility program, Twinkling Star has donated 10,000 high-quality backpacks to students in rural areas across five provinces in China.
The "Backpacks for Education" initiative aims to support children from low-income families by providing them with durable, functional backpacks equipped with school supplies. Each backpack includes notebooks, pens, pencils, and other essential learning materials.
"Education is the foundation of a better future," said CSR Director Li Xiao. "By providing these students with quality backpacks and supplies, we hope to make their educational journey a little easier and inspire them to pursue their dreams."
The donation program includes:
- 10,000 backpacks distributed across rural schools
- School supplies worth $50,000
- Scholarship fund for 100 outstanding students
- Teacher training workshops on student welfare
- Follow-up support and mentorship programs
Local education officials expressed gratitude for Twinkling Star's contribution, noting that many students previously carried their books in plastic bags or worn-out bags. The new backpacks feature ergonomic designs to protect children's developing spines and reflective strips for safety.
Twinkling Star plans to expand this program annually, with a goal of donating 50,000 backpacks by 2028. The company is also exploring partnerships with international NGOs to extend the program to other countries.
